This hard enamel pin set depicts a pair of black feathered wings. I have seen many others do their take on feathered wings. What I find so interesting is the huge diversity in how they look. Some are very realistic, others are heavily stylized. I was going for something in between. A primary goal I had in designing these was to make sure the rhythm of the feathers 'felt' right to me when I looked at them. I am very sensitive to minor variations in things like this and I spent a considerable amount of time making tiny little adjustments that most people will never notice, but in the end I achieved a design that satisfied my inner sense of harmony.
Pins are sold as a set with one right wing and one left wing.
Each wing is:
~2 inches from tip to tip
Two posts/clutches on the back.
Silver colored metal
Please note: these pins are available in two quality grades: Firsts and Seconds. Firsts are the highest quality and have no or very minor imperfections, while Seconds have imperfections that could include low enamel fill in some areas, scratches, or other such imperfections, but they are still beautiful pins! I actually prefer Seconds for everyday wear on my messenger bag.
Each pin we sell helps us fund new original pin designs.

Hefty, and really stunning wings. I'm going to put them on the dnd dice bag.

These are larger than anticipated, and are going to be fun to wear as though insignia of some military organization. Also amusing to put onto a shirt with a scarecrow theme. Good solid clasps that won't let loose and leave the wearer being stabbed by the actual pins. And, a favorite with this artist, there are 2 pins per piece, so they don't hang everything on one post.
